DIY crafts for children using bushings

  2. Animals.
  3. Transport.
  4. Houses and castles.

We make animals. DIY zoo made from bushings

The simplest and most exciting process is to create your own zoo from bushings.

The easiest and fastest way to make these animals is:

  1. Giraffe— the bushing fights as the body. The head with neck, paws (2 V-shaped parts) are cut out of thick paper and attached in two ways: using glue or inserted into the cuts in the sleeve cardboard. Then the animal is painted as desired.
  2. Monkey- the bushing is painted in brown or pasted over with appropriate colored paper. Using appliqué or paints, a muzzle is created, paws, ears and a tail are cut out of cardboard and inserted into the cuts in the sleeves - it looks neater this way.
  3. Family of lions. 3 bushings are made of different heights to make a lion, a lioness and a lion cub. A part of the sleeve is cut out in the shape of an arc along the book edge to make paws. Next, using paints and parts from colored paper, muzzles and tails are made.
  4. Elephant- the bushing is painted in suitable color, a trunk and ears are cut out of thick paper, glued or inserted into the cuts of the “torso”, and eyes are drawn. Using a felt-tip pen you can also draw the paws of an elephant.
  5. Crocodile— a mouth is created from one edge of the sleeve using V-necks on each side. Small white teeth are glued to them on top and bottom. A triangle from one of the cutouts is used as a tail and glued to the upper part of the body, paper paws are attached to the sides. It is most convenient to paint the crocodile green rather than paste it over with paper. When the paint dries, draw eyes and patterns on the back.
  6. Chanterelles. Top edges the bushings are bent towards the center to form an arc connecting the 2 edges - they will be the ears. The cardboard needs to be glued along the fold line. Next, the craft is painted orange, drawn or made using an applique of a muzzle in the middle. A tail is cut out of paper and glued or inserted into the hole.
  7. Kotikov- they are made according to the same principle as chanterelles.
  8. Shark- the mouth is made in the same way as that of a crocodile, the fins and tail are attached with glue.

Owl. Master class on creating an owl from a bushing

DIY crafts made from toilet paper rolls in the shape of owls are easy to make. They are good as a souvenir, toy or interior decor element.

To make it you will need:

Step by step instructions:

  1. Paint the bushings and let dry.
  2. Cut out wings, eyes (from 2 circles of different colors), paws, and tummy from paper.
  3. Glue all the parts in the right places. The wings can be glued along the body, creating an imitation of folded ones, or only on one edge so that they rise up and down.
  4. Use felt-tip pens to draw on the owls: feathers, eyelashes, pupils.

Various men made from toilet rolls

Toilet paper rolls can be turned into little people - cartoon characters or mythical creatures.

The easiest thing to do is:

Racing cars and planes

To keep a boy busy, you can make the following crafts from bushings:

  1. Cars- to do this, paint the bushing in the desired color, cut a rectangular hole in the middle of one of the walls - this will be the cabin. Wheels made of colored paper are glued to the sides. You can complicate the task and make small cuts in the “cabin” on both sides to lift this part like a windshield. Paint on the outside and glue the steering wheel on the inside.
  2. Aircraft- cut off one of the sides of the sleeve to form an arc. Wings are attached to the sides on top, and wheels are attached to the bottom. A square is cut out in the middle - the cockpit.
  3. Rockets— the sleeve is painted, a triangle is glued at the top, “legs” and papers are glued at the bottom. Circles-windows are drawn on the base.

Houses and castle

For the house, the sleeve is decorated with felt-tip pens, drawing bricks and windows. You can also draw doors, or you can cut them out on three sides so that they open. The roof is made from a paper cone into which you can insert a chimney or glue “snow” made of cotton wool on top.

A multi-story building can easily become just a sleeve painted with many windows.

To create a castle, just make several houses of different heights and glue them together. For a fortress, instead of a cone, a roof cut into teeth is suitable.

Panels for the development of small children from bushings

One of the multifunctional DIY crafts made from toilet paper rolls is a panel for the development of young children.

To make it you need:

  • The base is made of rough cardboard or plywood with dimensions starting from 1 sq.m. And more.
  • As many toilet paper rolls as possible paper towels.
  • Markers or paints.
  • Cardboard or plastic box for chicken eggs.

Step by step instructions:

  1. Paint the base one color or different colors. It is advisable to draw on it geometric shapes and household items in different colors - this way the panel will have more functions.
  2. Prepare the bushings - make them different lengths, you can cut it evenly, diagonally and in half lengthwise. Paint in bright colors.
  3. Attach the bushings to the base in any order so that you can throw different objects at them: either into a ring or going down the bushing, or down a slide. For development logical thinking For a child, it is advisable to place them in the form of a labyrinth so that they converge at the bottom with several vertically placed bushings. Place an egg carton under them - toys and balls will fall there, passing along all the paths of the panel.

Cat toy

Making a toy for your beloved pet is very simple and quick.

For the cat toy you will need:

Manufacturing:

  1. Pull the rope or wire through the sleeve and tie at the top.
  2. Paint the feathers in different colors, cut out various oblong figures from paper in the likeness of Christmas tree branches or garlands.
  3. Secure all toys to the bottom of the sleeve using a needle, thread, tape or glue. Feathers can be used to pierce cardboard to secure it.

  1. Pull the thread through the paper cylinder.
  2. Dip the sleeve in thick sugar syrup or honey.
  3. Roll the sleeve in cereals or crumbs.
  4. Hang the finished feeder on a tree branch.

Containers for seedlings

Eco-friendly and free mini pots can be made from sleeves by folding the bottom edge to form a bottom.
Such homemade containers are ideal for all summer residents for growing seedlings.

Home decor made from bushings

By cutting toilet paper rolls into rings about 1 cm thick, it is easy to lay out pictures from them on a paper or cardboard base. They can be left round, or they can be flattened to form a leaf shape. What design will be made from these details is up to the owner of the apartment to decide. A composition of such rings can be pasted directly onto the wallpaper or onto the base.

This decor will look good in open form, and under glass or in a frame. If allowed creativity, you can cut out ornaments, landscapes or human figures on the walls of the sleeves and hang several pieces on a chandelier or cornice. When dimly lit with a night light or lamp, the shadows of the carvings create a stunning look.

By stretching the thread through the walls of several rolls, we get a kind of garland. You can paint it on any theme - New Year's, Valentine's Day, Easter, wedding.

Even toilet paper manufacturers think about where to put the roll from the roll after using it. Someone suggests simply washing off this “waste material”... But we know that this should not be done under any circumstances, because the bushings make excellent crafts for children. Why shouldn't manufacturers adopt this idea? hygiene products and not draw a diagram of one craft from a sleeve on a piece of paper? And there would immediately be less garbage in the world. Moreover, crafts can be made in a variety of ways and it is very easy and simple, even small children can do it.

In this article we have collected ideas for such crafts, and You will see step-by-step master classes of the toys you like if you follow the links from the photographs.

Ideas from toilet paper rolls

The sleeve is a cylinder of thick recycled paper, approximately 10 cm high and 5 cm in diameter. It is also called a roll, cylinder or tube. Because of its shape and stability, it is well suited for making three-dimensional 3D crafts using colored paper, which is used to cover this sleeve and from which additional elements are cut out, or you can simply paint it. Paper towel tubes also work well.

From this waste material They make wonderful lanterns. This is the most simple craft.

Amazing animals will also come out on top. Cover it with brown, cut out the tail, paws and ears, and the squirrel is ready.

Let's complicate the face and make a lion.

By analogy, we make any other face, ears, paws and tail and any other animal comes out, be it a mouse, an elephant, a monkey, or even a hare.

And the insects from the sleeve look adorable too. Bee:

Let's change the wings and the design of the body, and a bright butterfly will flutter in front of you. Or ladybug:

And if your imagination boils and splashes, you can come up with wonderful monsters.

If you glue the bottoms of all of them, you will get beautiful pencil holders.

Let's turn the sleeve horizontally, glue the head and paws, and cute dogs and other animals are ready.

Or we attach wheels and get a sports car:

There are still very interesting technique, when one end of the sleeve is folded inward, connecting the edges. Thus, they look like ears and look great on different animals and owls. Making such crafts is a little more difficult, but the student should be able to do it himself.

Even a snowman, children on the street, Father Frost and the Snow Maiden can be made from bushings.

Well, and Santa with a deer and a gnome assistant too:

And we’ll put Christmas candles on the table, also made from waste material:

And if you cut the roll in a spiral, glue on its eyes and sting, a curled up snake will look at you with a curious gaze.

If you cut cardboard rolls into rings, you can also make interesting crafts.

In short, in your hands an ordinary toilet paper roll or paper towel or foil tube can find new life in an interesting way.

Do you like crafts, but don’t have bushings on hand? You can also do it yourself. Cut out a rectangle with sides 10 cm and 13.5 cm from thin cardboard. Roll it into a tube so that the 10 cm side becomes the height of the tube. Glue with a 5 mm overlap. You can immediately make such blanks of the desired color from colored cardboard for crafts.

We hope that the ideas for such crafts made from bushings will be useful to parents for teaching their children at home, to kindergarten teachers, and to primary school teachers.

Master class “We all really like the beautiful Christmas tree.” The wonderful transformation of toilet paper rolls

Dear friends, hello!

Today I bring to your attention a master class on making a spectacular Christmas tree.

When I brought the Christmas tree to work, even the harshest critics were surprised. The questions continued: What is the Christmas tree made of? Where did you get so many bushings? How long did it take to make? etc. The miraculous transformation of ordinary toilet paper rolls caused some bewilderment.

When I started doing the work, I had doubts; I had no idea how many bushings would be needed and whether I had enough of them in stock. It was easier with paper; if you need anything, you can buy it. All doubts were overcome by a great desire to make a big Christmas tree and bring joy to the children.

So let's get started.

Required materials and tools:

toilet paper rolls

Green crepe paper

Ceiling tiles

Knitting threads

Wire

Scissors

Stationery knife

PVA glue

Glue gun

To work, you will need toilet paper rolls. The bushings must be cut in half. I entrusted this part of the work to my husband.

Green crepe paper.

Cut the crepe paper lengthwise into 4 equal pieces. You should get strips about 12 cm wide.

Apply glue to the roll and carefully wrap it in crepe paper.

We leave a small piece of paper at one end of the roll, the other end is long so that you can make a tail to create an imitation of candy. We cut off excess paper each time with scissors.

Tie the long end with green knitting thread.

We will need quite a lot of these “semi-candies.”

For the base of the craft, we cut out a circle from cardboard from the packaging of household appliances.

Glue a cardboard circle onto the ceiling tile.

Cut out a circle with a utility knife.

Right now the most crucial moment of work begins. First, we will distribute 10 rolls exactly in a circle, use a glue gun, and fix them to the base. You need to work accurately, as hot glue does not tolerate miscalculations.

We place the second row of rolls between the rolls of the first row, fixing everything with a glue gun.

On the first evening, I covered, as it seemed to me, a sufficient number of rolls, but when I started collecting Christmas trees, there were only enough blanks for half the work. The packaging of paper was also running low. I had to buy another roll of paper and start gluing the bushings again.

Up to row 7, each row has the same number of bushings, 10 pieces each.

The tree should go to the cone. Now you need to manage to connect the bushings, reducing one in each row 9 - 8, 7, 6, 5., and last row 4 bushings.

For the penultimate row, I shortened the bushings a little more.

For the last one I made very short rolls.

We make a snowflake on the top of the Christmas tree from wire and balls of foil.

Insert the snowflake into the full sleeve and secure with thread.

We insert the crown between the bushings of the penultimate row and fix 4 small blanks between ourselves and the crown. The width of the base of the Christmas tree is 40 cm, height is 75 cm.

A few hours of painstaking work and this is the result. The result pleased me.

A few more touches. The base of the craft is decorated with padding polyester and decorated with snowflakes.

The kids were absolutely delighted.

The Christmas tree came for the holiday,

Dressed up,

And there's a snowflake at the top

Sparkles and shines.

Happy New Year, dear friends!

Let January be a silvery powder

Will ruin any trouble.

We wish everyone only the best

In the coming New Year!
