The second most popular souvenir attribute in Christ's Sunday– Easter bunny
WITH light hand Germans, he joyfully walks around the world. The children were assured that the rabbit only comes to good, obedient and kind children. And if you make a rabbit yourself, then, of course, it will be the most heartfelt gift. Crochet a small bunny. This will require a little time, a hook, white threads, a few beads and filler. The body can be knitted in the shape of an egg, filled with cotton wool or padding polyester, and then sewn on the knitted ears and paws. Don't forget to sew on the bead eyes and embroider the nose. In a similar way, you can make chickens, which are also a symbol of Easter. You can also make a rabbit from pieces of faux fur. Cut out yellow ears from felt, antennae from shiny braid, buy eyes from the store, and use a button as a nose.

Place wonderful bunnies made from small towels in your bathroom or kitchen. Place a piece of fragrant soap in each one or pour colorful bath balls and decorate them with ribbons.

Easy to implement, they will add freshness to your interior and will definitely lift your spirits.

Since rabbits love carrots, they are also used for Easter decoration. Paper or soft fabric carrots are used to decorate an Easter tree or hang as a garland.

Don't ignore old things in your home. A simple felt applique can update an ordinary, rather boring pillow and magically turn it into an organic element of holiday decor.

You can make a garland from wrapping or colored paper. Garlands made from various materials will help you create a festive mood and add bright elements to the design of your home or apartment. Felt or colored paper is most suitable for these purposes. They can decorate windows, front door or walls in the room where the celebration will take place. Don't be afraid to experiment with color combinations. The brighter and juicier your garlands are, the better. Spring is the time for a riot of colors.

For the little ones
Preparing for the celebration will not require any special skills or abilities from you. Even if you are not very confident in holding a needle and thread in your hands, it will not be difficult for you to make finger toys for children. Who knows, maybe this will be the beginning of a good tradition of holiday puppet shows in your home.

Table setting for Easter is undoubtedly given great importance. In this serious matter, you can also rely on your children. With a little help, even the smallest members of your family will be able to contribute to creating a festive atmosphere. Wonderful stands for Easter eggs should be decorated with flowers. Not a single holiday is complete without flowers, and even more so a spring holiday like Easter.

Inspire children to create crafts from scrap materials. In their imagination, ordinary things turn into something extraordinary. In this they truly have no equal. Who would have thought that such wonderful themed crafts could be made from disposable tableware?

Easter envelopes
The kids, of course, will be interested in taking part in the ceremonial preparations. Paper crafts for Easter are something in which children can express themselves. To make these crafts for Easter with your own hands, cut out blanks with ears from 2 sheets of paper, and cut out parts in the shape of ears from colored paper. You should end up with 4 bunny ears and 4 pieces of colored paper. Now glue the cut out parts onto the ears in the blanks. After this, glue the blanks together, cut out the nose, eyes and antennae for the hare from colored paper, and then glue these parts onto the envelope.
One of the most beautiful home decors is the Easter tree.
Although this is a Western European tradition, it was also successfully used in the Russian Empire. Such a tree was carried during the procession of the patriarch and was called the “royal willow.” Making such an Easter tree is quite easy. Take a small bucket or flower pot, perhaps you have a medium-sized ceramic vase. Fill your container with floral foam purchased from a florist or just sand. Break any branches on the street, although willow is better, of course. Place your branches in a pre-prepared container and decorate with paper flowers, garlands, small nests with chicks, colorful ribbons and, of course, decorated eggs.

In addition to traditional willow branches, which will probably decorate your apartment anyway, you can use birch, willow or bird cherry branches to make an unusual spring bouquet. At your request, the branches can be coated with white paint or placed in water and wait for the buds to bloom. The final touch will be pendants in the shape of birds, which you can make from felt, paper, or even cut out from old magazines.

There must be fire on the Easter table
Fire is a symbol of light, and you simply cannot do without candles. During the Easter night service, a large candle is placed at the altar; it is a symbol of Jesus Christ, and its flame is a symbol of the resurrection. Decorate your Easter table with original candles. For this you will need eggs. You need to carefully break the egg in the middle and take out the contents, so you get two holiday candlesticks. To make it more beautiful, they can be painted. Now place small candles inside. Or you can melt candle wax, pour it into the shell and immerse the wick there. To prevent the candles from turning over, you need to make stands for them. Take colored cardboard, cut a strip two centimeters wide and twenty centimeters long, bend it into a circle and glue it - the stand is ready.

Greens in a “pot” made from eggshells
Imagine how symbolic it will look: an egg as a source of life, and the greenery sprouted in it, as a living embodiment of a bright and young life!

Take empty egg shells, fill them with soil, moisten it slightly and plant the seeds of your choice in it. To prevent the shells from wobbling, make special stands for them. For example, paint lids from a mixture of gouache and PVA glue plastic bottles and place “pots” on them.
In a couple of days, sprouts should appear, and you can give such unique crafts for Easter with your own hands to your family and friends!
There is another option - you can mark the flowers of snowdrops, lilies of the valley or violets in shells filled with water. It will be very beautiful! And such a DIY Easter craft will receive the highest praise!

Decorating eggs using quilling technique

In order to make such crafts for Easter with your own hands, it is better to use special foam eggs. Although, you can also use regular boiled or raw ones with the contents released.

The quilling technique involves rolling thin strips of plain paper (colored or white) using a pencil and then gluing them onto eggs. How exactly to make such crafts for Easter with your own hands is up to you. The main thing is imagination and desire!

To create such toys you will need several whole eggs, a needle, colored paper, scissors, markers, plasticine, and glue. Wash the egg and carefully make holes on both ends. Blow the contents into a cup (and prepare, for example, an omelet) and let the shell dry. Cut out paws, wings, tail, ears, and a snout from paper and glue them onto the egg. Eyes, nose, mouth and buttons can be drawn with a felt-tip pen, sculpted from plasticine, or also made from paper. Cute little animals are ready!

Wicker baskets and stands
In such a basket you can put ready-made Easter cake, bright eggs, and funny shell toys:

Eggshell mosaic painting
Paint the washed and dried shell on the inside in two layers. Cut out an applique from paper and apply glue to the applique area. Place the shell there and press it down lightly. Apply glue to the next area and also glue the shell there. Lay out the drawing gradually, alternating colors. Small pieces of shell can be moved with tweezers or a toothpick. Glue the resulting mosaic drawing onto a sheet of cardboard and insert it into a frame.

Easter egg made of threads

Surely, you have seen eggs made from multi-colored threads more than once, which look so interesting! And, what’s most wonderful, you can make such crafts for Easter yourself! To do this you will need:
- a small balloon,
- colored threads,
- PVA glue,
- needle,
- scissors.
To make this craft for Easter with your own hands, inflate a balloon so that it is shaped like an egg. After this, thread a needle and pass it through a jar of glue so that the thread is completely covered with glue. After this, tightly wrap the inflated balloon with thread and glue, leaving the tail of the balloon at the bottom. Wait until the glue on the thread dries and carefully deflate the ball, then remove it from the egg. Isn't it an original DIY craft for Easter?

Easter egg made from pasta - a beautiful craft

You will need:

  • balloon
  • Pasta
  • PVA glue
  • Tweezers, cloth
  • Nail polish
  • Roll of tape
  • Glue gun

Master class

  1. We inflate a regular rubber ball so that its shape resembles an egg. Draw an oval circle on the surface with a felt-tip pen, as in the photo.

2. Mix the pasta, shaped like a wheel with a hole, in a plate with PVA glue.

3. Take the ring with glue with tweezers and glue it along the drawn oval circle.

4. Then we continue to glue the pasta rings to the entire surface of the ball, now working with our fingers, removing the tweezers. Leave the pasta egg until the glue dries completely.

5. When the glue dries, pop the ball and remove it carefully. What you are left with in your hands is the hollow, firm structure of a pasta egg. Start using tweezers to remove the film from the glue where it is.

6. Wipe the glue inside with a cloth and it will fall off.

7. Take a can of spray paint and paint the egg inside and out.

8. Take your nail polish and start painting the shell-shaped pasta with a brush.

9. The shells are painted and need to dry.

10. Start decorating the oval hole of the egg by holding the red shell with tweezers and applying glue to it with a glue gun.

11. This is how beautifully decorated the Easter egg is. But it doesn't have a stand.

12. Take the ring from the tape.
